Just came across your website and had to let people know about a great restaurant just off International Drive. It's called Charlies Steakhouse. I was in Florida in 2009 with my husband and 3 children. We had only arrived in Florida the day before and had just spent the day at Magic Kingdom. We were all really tired when we got back but we decided to go for something to eat. We found Charlie's Steakhouse and thought it looked nice. Inside it is really quite posh compared to the outside appearance. The name Charlie's Steakhouse to me dosn't suggest posh but once inside you realize that this place really is something else. We were shown to our seats by a very nice man. Once seated we were able to take in our surrounding's. The restaurant is quite dark with dark furniture all arround. You'll notice a lot of wine bottles are on the walls.The menu is very large and the prices are quite expensive but each item has a lot of information about it.When our waiter came to our table he proceeded to tell us about the restaurant and was very informative. He produced a wooden board ,much like a very large cheese board that was filled with raw steak's. The waiter then told us a lot of information about each steak (how long it's been matured and so on). He then said he'd give us a bit of time to decide. A man sitting oposite us came up to us and told us that because the prices are quite expensive a lot of people get one dish to share between two. He said the portions are huge and that a lot of people do this. We took his advice and decided to order a portion between myself and my husband. My children just ordered some side orders as they were very tired and not to hungry. When the meal arrived it was massive. The kind waiter obliged by cutting the huge steak in two for me and my husband. Charlie's Steakhouse is without doubt a lovly restaurant but a little bit expensive. If you want to try a fantastic steak though I could'nt recommend it enough.
